Our founder, Dominick Passo, began his career over 15 years ago in the home improvement industry, learning the trade from the ground up—roofing, restoration, remodeling, and project management.
In 2021, he launched Excel Roofing & Restoration, which quickly became known for its reliability, craftsmanship, and strong customer relationships.
The company’s growth was fueled by one driving force: the belief that construction is more than building structures—it’s about serving people and protecting what matters most. That vision led to the creation of Semper Fi Construction, a full-service residential and commercial construction company.
Today, we provide everything from roofing and storm restoration to windows, siding and all exterior needs, with the added support of an in-house public adjuster division to guide clients through complex insurance claims.

2011
Excel Roofing & Restoration
In 2011 we launched Excel Roofing & Restoration, which quickly became known for its reliability, craftsmanship, and strong customer relationships.
2022
Public Adjusters Division
After a decade in the roofing industry, leadership wanted to fill a void homeowners and businesses experienced with the insurance industry as it related to roofing. By 2022 Excel Roofing and Restoration launched a Public Adjusters division that was solely focused on storm remediation services.

Why I Built Semper Fi Construction
I started my career in the home improvement industry over 15 years ago. I didn’t begin as an owner—I started hands-on, learning roofing, restoration, remodeling, and project management from the ground up. What I quickly realized is that success in this industry isn’t just about building—it’s about how you treat people.

That belief drove me to start Excel Roofing & Restoration in 2021. We built our reputation not only on quality workmanship but on customer service—making sure homeowners and businesses felt supported, informed, and protected through every step of the process.

But I wanted to do more. That’s why I founded Semper Fi Construction—to expand beyond roofing and restoration into a company that could handle every aspect of construction while keeping the customer experience at the center of everything we do.
